Heavy Plant Technician required by Bennett & Game Recruitment. Our client is a family-run business with over 20 years of experience in the plant industry, operating a fleet of over 70 Excavators ranging from 0.5 ton to 8.5 ton, over 70 Dumpers ranging from 0.6Ton to 6.0 ton, and a large variety of other Plant & DIY equipment.

Successful candidates will be responsible for servicing and repairing complex hydraulic systems, digger tracks, Excavators up to 8 ton, dumpers up to 6-ton, fork lifts, rollers, tree surgery equipment (chippers and grinders), small tool garden machinery, mixers, and small water pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and repair all heavy and small plant machinery
• Provide diagnostics and have excellent fault-finding skills
• Ensure the workshop is tidy and adhere to all health and safety rules
• Wash down machinery when the machines come back for hire, should the Yardman be unavailable

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in a similar business and position
• Full Driving Licence
• Happy to work one weekend day every other week
