Golf Traveller is a luxury sector B2C and B2B golf tour operator and event organiser. Our management have long histories in golf, travel, hospitality and events, setting the stage for a truly exceptional experience. Our global client portfolio includes elite private clubs, leisure and golf tour operators, agents and concierge providers, HNW individuals, private family offices and corporate entities invested in golf.

Our Opportunity

  • We're seeking a skilled professional to craft bespoke itineraries that showcase the best of golf and luxury travel.
  • Liaison and negotiation with existing and new suppliers will be key to delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Development of our product portfolio will be crucial in marketing to our audiences.
  • Efficient communication and information sharing between internal teams across international offices is essential.
  • Buyer representation at trade events will provide valuable opportunities for knowledge acquisition and staff product training.
  • 40 hours per week plus occasional seasonal overtime will be required.
  • Reports to: Head of Product.
  • Location: London / hybrid.

Requirements

  • A self starter with a passion for travel and golf.
  • Comfortable using digital tools to complete daily tasks.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong numeracy and communication skills - both written and verbally.
  • Professional telephone etiquette.
  • Previous travel industry experience, ideally in a luxury procurement role.
  • Strong organisational skills and granular attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Analytical approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously when required.
  • Creativity.
  • Ambition & motivation to succeed.

We're looking for someone to create programmes that cater to the interests of our clients, recommending destinations that we know will resonate, complete with the most appropriate accommodation, transportation, dining, activities and excursions that combine to form the perfect experience. You'll work with suppliers directly and via DMCs, building and managing relationships that we can leverage to create unique access for our travellers. Occasional travel will be required, attending trade shows as a buyer and visiting the destinations we are interested in selling. You'll then take responsibility for educating our teams - your fellow product team members and our sales, marketing and operations staff. Ideal candidates will have work experience in the luxury travel industry and an interest in, or understanding of, golf. A commercial and creative approach plus great communication skills both in person and digitally are expected, as is the desire to learn, develop and make a genuine contribution to a growing team.
