Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-quality design solutions for clean water treatment plants.
About the Role- Direct and coordinate the mechanical aspects of clean water design projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and standards.
- Develop and maintain design deliverables, including P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, pipework layouts, and mechanical specifications.
- Liaise with designers from various disciplines to ensure a complete and concise design package.
- Compile mechanical specifications and datasheets for procurement of mechanical equipment.
- Review technical submissions and present project results to clients and colleagues.
- Maintain design input throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility to construction and handover.

- 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in clean water treatment.
- BTEC HNC/HND in an engineering field as a minimum.
- EUSR water hygiene card.
- Competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to take decisions and demonstrate accountability and integrity.
- Ability to be an active and participating team member, able to transfer skills to others to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to troubleshoot and strategise to meet the long-term vision of the company.
