This position is essential for managing all facets of import and export activities while fostering client relationships, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address customer inquiries and manage interactions with professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships to enhance business development.
  • Track and evaluate customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Proactively promote services during client interactions.
  • Exemplify company values and mentor team members.
  • Coordinate and supervise daily operational activities.
  • Implement feedback and drive process enhancements.
  • Manage import/export documentation ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Collaborate with global partners to troubleshoot shipping and documentation challenges.
  • Negotiate pricing with freight service providers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare competitive bids and responses to tenders.
  • Deliver precise and timely quotations for logistics services.
  • Oversee financial transactions and maintain meticulous records.
  • Conduct monthly analyses and implement improvements based on findings.
  • Efficiently process and authorize customer invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases pertaining to shipping operations.
  • Assist with various administrative and data management responsibilities.
  • Ensure seamless logistics operations from both administrative and operational perspectives.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an operational capacity within the Freight Forwarding sector.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with EU Customs best practices for import and export is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
