Compliance Manager Job Description

KHR Recruitment Specialists is pleased to partner with a leading Kent-based manufacturer to recruit an experienced Compliance Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee prototype testing to ensure compliance with required specifications.
  • Act as internal subject matter specialist, advising colleagues on technical queries.
  • Develop and maintain a certification system, including Test Reports, Classification Reports, and Declaration of Performance reports.
  • Input to and validation of technical content of Company documentation.
  • Conduct audits, develop procedures, and assess potential risks.
  • Oversee data within the company ERP system.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree standard in a relevant subject.
  • Extensive industry experience, including knowledge of compliance, audit, and certification requirements.
  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert with in-depth understanding of relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Relevant industry qualifications, such as NEBOSH, level 3.
  • Experience in working with accreditation bodies and trade associations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to achieving results.
  • High attention to detail, with excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey technical information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.

Hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8 am-4.30 pm.
