Senior Mechanical Engineer

Join our team at oilandgas as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in West Chester, OH (Cincinnati area). This onsite role offers the potential for 2-3 days of remote work once acclimated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors.
  • Create designs for low voltage & medium voltage switchgear or Switchboard assemblies/systems and related equipment.
  • Coordinate with engineering and plant teams to develop solutions within project scope.
  • Produce engineering reports/submittals addressing technical project needs.
  • Perform site visits to collect data for new developments.
  • Incorporate digital footprint into new solutions.
Qualifications:
  • 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in Design, preferably in electromechanical field.

Proven experience in the following areas:

  • Manufacturing or Product Design/Development experience.
  • Power Distribution Product.
  • Design of metal-clad enclosures.
  • Design experience using 3D CAD tools (Creo/PDM).
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate on design and project work.
  • Problem-solving approaches to develop solutions within project scope.
  • Proficiency with Office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Customer attitude (capacity to listen to clients, understand client needs).
  • Management of overall project delivery and production/installation schedule.
