Private Credit Team

The Private Credit team sits within the Asset Management Division, focusing on private-side investments. As one of the world's largest alternative credit investing platforms, we originate investments and invest third-party capital across senior secured loans, mezzanine/unsecured debt, preferred equity, and opportunistic credit supporting buyouts led by Private Equity sponsors.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Originating investment ideas across the product suite of Credit through early engagement with relevant parties
  • Engaging in due diligence and business analysis to develop and refine investment theses
  • Actively monitoring existing investments in the portfolio
  • Building relationships with sponsors, management teams, and internal GS stakeholders

Requirements

  • Investment Banking and Private Credit/Direct Lending candidate with 2 to 4 years of experience
  • Strong quantitative, financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for investing with specific interest in credit or other structured products
