Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Private Client Lawyer to join our team at Reed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling a comprehensive range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, probate, inheritance tax, and estate planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a varied caseload of private client matters.
  • Provide expert legal advice on wills, trusts, estate planning, and related areas.
  • Draft, review, and execute legal documents with precision and care.
  • Offer guidance and support to clients through complex legal processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of client service.
  • Participate in business development and networking initiatives to foster growth.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Private Client law.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing a full spectrum of private client cases.
  • Capability to independently manage and run your own files.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong business development and networking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
