SEND Mentor Vacancy: Make a Difference in South Manchester

Cover People Worldwide Teaching is seeking a skilled Youth or Support Worker to fill a SEND mentor position in a school setting. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young people with SEN requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with adults or young people with SEND needs and a passion for working in SEND/SEMH schools. We require a compassionate and confident individual who finds joy in helping students overcome challenges.

  • Develop and implement strategies for behaviour management.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Provide targeted support to students with SEN requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
  • Offer guidance and support to students facing obstacles.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive daily pay rate of £110-£130 per day, paid weekly via PAYE.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working with vulnerable children or young people.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as Youth Work or Support Work certifications.
  • The ability to commute daily to South Manchester.
