Opportunity Overview

A sales trainee role with BMS Performance in Manchester offers a unique chance to break into sales and progress into a client-facing position. The company is a leading supplier of façade and timber products, turning over more than £200 million per year. As a Sales Trainee, you will represent the company's full range of brick and masonry products, learning all aspects of the business and developing towards targeting architects, building contractors, property developers and house builders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish strong relationships with customers and suppliers through effective communication and timely response.
  • Prepare and send quotes and sales information to customers as requested, meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Arrange product samples for projects and maintain stock levels and showroom facilities when applicable.
  • Provide administrative support to the external sales team using the company project HUB.
  • Proactively manage databases for mailshots and contribute to company marketing activities.
  • Maintain company expectations regarding target income, procedures, and KPIs to ensure progression up the sales ladder.
  • Embrace training and development opportunities in sales and product knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the directors to achieve team objectives.

Packages and Benefits

The company provides a competitive basic salary of £27,000, an OTE of circa £30,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, iPad, mobile, laptop, and company car scheme after a 6-month probation period.
