This reputable firm of Chartered Accountants & Tax Advisers is seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to lead tax services for a diverse range of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to advance their career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and providing comprehensive tax compliance and advisory support.
- Preparing and reviewing complex tax computations and returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- Developing tailored tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions and ensure compliance with UK tax legislation.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
- Liaising with HMRC and handling tax inquiries and disputes on behalf of clients.
- Leading and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and technical expertise.
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong background in tax.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice, ideally as a Tax Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex tax matters clearly to clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to work.
