Mobile Forklift Repair Engineer

The client, a well-established Material Handling firm, is seeking an experienced Mobile Forklift Repair Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately diagnosing faults, servicing, and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on plant and forklift machinery.

  • Collaborate with customers surrounding the plant, lifting and handling products.
  • Actively travel to sites and carry out repairs of the equipment and create solutions.
  • Work on engines, batteries, pneumatics, and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the Plant or Forklift industries, with a strong background in hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical capabilities. Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering, are advantageous. A full UK Driver's License is also required.
