About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join the team at Cundall's Bristol office.

As a key member of our team, you will work alongside directors and partners to ensure the successful delivery of projects, collaborating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders on some of the most innovative new school building projects in the UK and worldwide.

You will predominantly work with large and innovative corporate entities across the UK and EMEA regions, delivering cutting-edge workplaces that enable employees to excel and make a positive impact.

The successful candidate will take a key role in delivering projects, managing Cundall's specialist engineers, and working closely with colleagues from various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture outstanding client relationships to maximize satisfaction and ensure repeat business.
  • Use your expertise and leadership skills to manage, motivate, and inspire a team of engineers.
  • Manage multiple projects to exceed client expectations, consistently delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Assist with fee proposals and business development in the schools and education sector, providing local expertise and supporting the growth of the business.
  • Attend internal national and international schools sector meetings, sharing best practices and opportunities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a building services context.
  • Extensive experience demonstrating familiarity with high-quality engineering solutions and a client-focused approach.
  • Sound knowledge of Revit and proven experience in creative, sustainable, and intuitive design.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
