Make a Difference with Chestnut Tree House

We are seeking a highly organized and sales-focused manager to lead our retail team at our busiest hospice charity shop in Selsey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Manage a team of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets
  • Oversee stock control, visual merchandising, and inventory management
  • Liaise with the Distribution Centre for stock and furniture deliveries
  • Operate the EPOS system, manage daily cash handling, and ensure accurate banking
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, volunteers, and customers

Requirements:

  • Experience in retail, sales, or a similar fast-paced customer-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of furniture sales or experience working in a charity shop is highly desirable
