Quantity Surveyor - Retrofit

Parker Jones Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Retrofit, Social Housing, and Planned Works Contracts. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for measurement, pricing, and evaluation of tenders, as well as taking ownership of projects from contract award to final account agreement.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate cost management and forecasting.
  2. Collaborate with senior management to report progress and provide strategic insights.
  3. Manage and administer sub-contractor accounts, ensuring timely payment and compliance.
  4. Prepare and submit applications for payment, ensuring seamless financial processes.
  5. Agree final accounts and complete required client documentation, facilitating client approval.
Requirements:
  1. Professional Qualification (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma) or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience in planned works projects is preferred but not essential.
  3. Strong knowledge of commercial management, procurement, and bill of quantities.
  4. Excellent team player with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
