About the Role:

Abingdon School is seeking an experienced and motivated Sports Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Tilsley Park, our state-of-the-art sports facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the facility operates efficiently and effectively in providing high-quality sports and leisure facilities for Abingdon School and the wider community.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining high operational standards. They will also possess excellent people skills, including customer service, leadership, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the facility operates effectively and efficiently
  • Oversee staff rotas and ensure staffing levels meet business requirements
  • Develop events and activities through working closely with the public and local businesses
  • Maintain financial controls, cash handling procedures, and banking processes
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and procedures
  • Support marketing plans for the facility and take a lead on projects

What We Offer:

  • Estimated salary: £30,000 - £31,500 per annum
  • Full-time position with 25 days paid annual leave (plus eight statutory bank holidays)
