The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the facility operates efficiently and effectively in providing high-quality sports and leisure facilities for Abingdon School and the wider community.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining high operational standards. They will also possess excellent people skills, including customer service, leadership, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the facility operates effectively and efficiently
- Oversee staff rotas and ensure staffing levels meet business requirements
- Develop events and activities through working closely with the public and local businesses
- Maintain financial controls, cash handling procedures, and banking processes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and procedures
- Support marketing plans for the facility and take a lead on projects
What We Offer:
- Estimated salary: £30,000 - £31,500 per annum
- Full-time position with 25 days paid annual leave (plus eight statutory bank holidays)
