Your Role
As an Empowering Care Specialist, you will provide personalized support to our service users, helping them engage in meaningful activities and experiences. You'll work closely with the team to create a safe and inclusive environment, promoting independence and confidence in daily life.
Responsibilities
- Support service users with daily tasks and activities, encouraging participation and engagement.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring individual needs are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide emotional support and guidance, empowering service users to make informed decisions.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements
To be successful as an Empowering Care Specialist, you will need:
- Experience working in the social care sector or NHS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion, empathy, and understanding of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and autism
