Join Halfords, a leading UK retailer, as a Senior Finance Analyst in our Retail B2B team. As a key member of our finance team, you will provide financial support to our Retail B2B Leadership team, driving commercial performance improvements and leading commercial reporting and insight into operational costs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to the Retail B2B Leadership Team, including relevant KPI analysis.
- Support the Retail B2B Leadership Team in understanding and managing costs, while driving operational efficiencies.
- Support the Business Partner in providing the right balance of challenge and support to the B2B Leadership Team around commercial decision making.
- Lead on month-end for all of retail B2B, providing variance analysis to budget across all B2B revenue streams, business partnering with stakeholders to ensure that cost lines are accurate and complete.
- Lead on the budgeting and reforecasting processes during the annual business cycle for all retail B2B cost lines across each revenue stream.
- Track Opex/Capex project spend for cost lines.
- Experience within Retail or fast-paced sector preferred, e.g. FMCG.
- Part Qualified at Strategic level studying towards either CIMA/ACCA.
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel. The ability to use Microsoft Access at a high level is highly desirable but not essential for this position.
- Experience with using SAP desirable but not essential.
- Absolute commitment to quality with a high attention to detail.
- Comfortable being able to handle large quantities of data and analyse data to inform commercial decision making.
The role is a hybrid role based at our Support Centre in Redditch 3 days per week.
