Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

This is a challenging role that requires a skilled and experienced electrical supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical systems within our production plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment, as well as providing technical guidance and support to electrical maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Maintenance: Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, and replacements of electrical equipment.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to electrical maintenance personnel, including training and development of skills and knowledge.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all electrical work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of electrical inventory, including spare parts and materials.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure seamless operation of the plant.
Requirements:
  • Education: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 Equivalent in Electrical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a production plant environment.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including HV and LV installations, instrumentation systems, and control and safety systems.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
