We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team at Employment Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting sales documentation, creating general arrangement drawings, and producing detailed manufacturing drawings for cranes and related equipment.

This role offers a varied and challenging opportunity to work across departments, ensuring smooth project delivery from design to manufacturing. You will report to the Principal Mechanical Engineer and have the opportunity to work on new and exciting technical drawing projects.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical or design engineering, with a strong understanding of CAD systems and engineering workflows. You will be customer-focused and willing to engage in site visits to ensure accuracy in the general arrangement process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret sales specifications to create General Arrangement drawings for cranes and hoists.
  • Conduct customer site visits when necessary to ensure accuracy in the general arrangement process.
  • Identify components and materials to enter into the company's MRP system for production.
  • Produce detailed manufacturing drawings and release them for crane and hoist manufacturing.
  • Liaise effectively with the sales, manufacturing teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure technical support and smooth order processing.
