Job Title: Site Engineer

United Living Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in the delivery of site-based engineering duties, working closely with the engineering department to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce temporary works designs and deliver a complete range of Civil Engineering services from scheme concept through to detailed design and construction monitoring.
  • Produce layouts and detailed drawings for the inclusion in the tender process, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to produce as-built drawings based on redlines provided.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety systems and regulations, and provide technical advice and assistance as needed.
  • Assist in the management of site staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party stakeholders, communicating design aspects that require explanation or clarification.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals, ensuring that all necessary information is included and that the proposal meets the client's requirements.
  • Collaborate with the construction supervisor/project manager to ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted on time.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the department head.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years' work experience in civil engineering and/or earthworks.
  • Minimum HNC/HND qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience and up-to-date knowledge of surveying software, including MicroStation/AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to discuss complex technical issues and persuade key stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations and the Designer and principal contractors' role.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
