Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Company Overview: United Living Group is a leading infrastructure, construction, and property services company in the UK.
Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide technical operational management, leadership, and control of a multi-disciplinary team comprising construction and supervisory resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction activities related to projects and be fully responsible for their overall success.
- Coordinate site teams to organize, plan, motivate, coordinate, and direct the construction effort.
- Work closely with Operations, Commercial, and Pre-Construction Managers and other senior management within the project execution function.
- Act as the point of contact for projects on-site and be the go-to person for all construction-related issues.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills with outcome-focused collaborative behaviors.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a culture of zero harm accidents or incidents relating to occupational and personal safety, security, health issues, and environmental matters.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the H & S Management System and drive change when required.
- Manage and direct project programs, budgets, and resource allocations to meet or exceed project goals.
- Ensure subcontractors' construction methods, procedures, and practices are properly complied with in all respects.
- Liaise with clients and their representatives on matters of quality, design, progress, and safety.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
- SMSTS – Essential.
- NVQ Level 6 or above.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Prince2/PMP - Desirable.
- IOSH/NEBOSH - Desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, and MS Projects - Essential.
- A thorough knowledge of CDM regulations & Legislation.
