We are seeking a skilled Fleet Engineer to join our team at South Central Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our workshop facility in Didcot, you will be responsible for maintaining vehicles on behalf of the trust.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair specialist vehicles and equipment to the highest standards.
- Ensure maximum levels of vehicle availability at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preparing new vehicles for service and preparing old vehicles for disposal.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Attend training courses to stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance and repair techniques.
- Make decisions on vehicle repairs in the absence of the Fleet Supervisor.
- Participate in the Duty Mechanic standby rota system.

What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of circa. £37,755 pa, plus OTE excess £45k pa with overtime. You will also receive 25 days per annum holiday entitlement, plus bank holidays.
