Software Craftsmen

allpay Limited is a leading Fintech company in the UK, specializing in payment and financial services. We're currently seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Research and Development team.

In this role, you will:

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are well-defined and comprehensive.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies to design and develop software solutions that meet business and user needs.
• Contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive project success.
• Design software with scalability, maintainability, and configurability in mind.
• Pursue ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Estimated Annual Salary: £60,000 - £80,000

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Experience with object-oriented programming languages, particularly C# and .NET.
• Proficiency in SQL Server or equivalent database management systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure platform and services is desirable.
• A solid understanding of software and hardware environments, including networking fundamentals.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement at our offices near Hereford, accessible from Birmingham, Gloucester, Cheltenham, or Worcester.
