Job Summary:

Are you a skilled Hydraulic Engineer looking for a leadership role? AECOM is seeking a talented individual to lead our Hydraulic Engineering team in England & Wales. As a key member of our Water Engineering business, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced engineers and delivering innovative solutions for water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of experienced engineers in hydraulic design and analysis
  • Work collaboratively with other design discipline engineers on projects
  • Develop comprehensive hydraulic designs for water and wastewater treatment works
  • Prepare design reports and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Estimate and budget man-hours for design tasks
  • Validate deliverables and ensure quality assurance


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hydraulic design within the UK Water Industry
  • Professional chartership with CIWEM, IChemE, IMechE, or ICE
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hydraulic design principles and collaboration with other disciplines
  • Experience with hydraulic design software, including HADES
  • Pressurised pipeline system design and transient analysis
