Epsom Area Housing Stock Maintenance Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced UPVC Door and Window Repair Technician to join our team in the Epsom area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on UPVC doors and windows, ensuring safety at work, and maintaining high-quality standards.

About the Job

This role involves working with domestic housing stock, repairing and maintaining UPVC doors and windows, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, a full driving license, and proficiency in using mobile devices for work.

Responsibilities

  • Performing repairs and maintenance on UPVC doors and windows, including DGUs, seals, handles, and hinges.
  • Completing works via PDA device, accurately recording SOR codes.
  • Ensuring safety at work, reporting hazards and accidents.
  • Maintaining high-quality standards, completing jobs on the first visit where possible.
  • Keeping residents informed throughout the repair process.
  • Maintaining clean, well-stocked vehicles and company tools.
  • Handling emergency and routine work orders as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Full driving license and proficient in using mobile devices for work.
  • Strong trade skills and time management abilities.
  • Experience in social housing and a strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career progression.
