Job Summary

We are seeking an Employment Lawyer with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience to join our team. As a key member of our employment law team, you will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of employment law, including day-to-day employment advice and contentious matters such as Employment Tribunal claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on employment law matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, contracts, and policies
  • Represent clients in Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting and responding to claims, witness statements, and advocacy
  • Provide day-to-day employment advice to clients, including telephone and written advice to managers, HR, and senior executives/Board level
  • Draft contracts, policies, and other employment-related documentation
  • Conduct investigations and advise on disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements
Requirements
  • Experience of Employment Tribunal litigation, including drafting and responding to claims, witness statements, and advocacy
  • Ability to provide day-to-day employment and HR advice to clients
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
