Site Engineering Manager - Manufacturing Opportunity

Location: South Yorkshire

Working Hours: Monday - Friday Days

Overview: The Sterling Choice Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Site Engineering Manager to join their manufacturing team. As a Site Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day engineering function on site, as well as longer-term strategy and capital project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and manage day-to-day operations in the engineering department.
  2. Manage full cycle projects from inception to delivery, covering installations and process changes.
  3. Recruit and manage the site and engineering team.
  4. Upskill and provide guidance to the hands-on engineering team.
  5. Attend and run daily production meetings.
  6. Assume senior site management responsibilities and work closely with other departments.
  7. Ensure adherence to site Health & Safety rules and legislation.
Requirements:
  1. Time-served or recognised apprenticeship in a relevant engineering subject.
  2. Experience working in a senior engineering management position.
  3. Experience working in the food or FMCG environments and comfortable working to a fast pace.
  4. Ability to work to a fast pace and experience in a manufacturing environment.
