Job Title: Merchandising and Buying Manager

With a strong online presence and a loyal customer base, the company is seeking an experienced merchandising and buying manager to help drive its continued growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently to optimize inventory levels, drive sales through effective merchandising strategies, and collaborate closely with the founder and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage stock levels and optimize inventory to prevent overstock or stockouts
  • Develop and maintain merchandising plans and forecasts to drive sales growth
  • Collaborate with the founder and production teams to develop new products and improve production processes
  • Execute the materials buying process, including supplier negotiation, lead time management, and purchase order placement
  • Manage select wholesale relationships and build a production process around this growing area
Requirements:
  • High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to create reporting tools and deliver actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage up to the founder and collaborate with external partners
  • Proactive mindset and ability to take initiative to implement change
  • Keen eye for design and interest in the accessories sector
