Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a small team of engineers in the assembly of composite components.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing instructions, SOPs, and work instructions.
  3. Identify and manage tooling requirements, including design, supply, and commissioning.
  4. Assist in resolving day-to-day manufacturing problems and issues.
  5. Support lean and improvement projects.
  6. Coordinate customer and supplier queries.
  7. Participate in NPI project teams and report progress to plans.
  8. Liaise with other manufacturing divisions and departments.
  9. Assist with internal and external audits.
  10. Interface with customers and suppliers on specific projects.
  11. Ensure the well-being and Health & Safety of fellow workers.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering, with a focus on assembly engineering.
  2. Experience with composite materials is highly beneficial.
  3. Knowledge of aerospace specifications.
  4. Experience with project management principles and tools, particularly in NPI applications.
  5. Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
  6. Problem-solving toolsets.
  7. Knowledge of CATIA is desirable.
  8. Aptitude for organizing and problem-solving.
