B2B Sales Professional

We are seeking a driven and results-focused Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at Freight Personnel, based in our Warrington office. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling our Sameday delivery services across the UK, with a focus on the Warrington, Liverpool, St Helens, Runcorn and surrounding areas.
Main Responsibilities:- Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive growth and meet company KPIs and gross profit targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business and revenue growth.
- Follow up on qualified leads from marketing exercises and re-sign lapsed account customers where possible.
- Consistently report activity and results using our online CRM system.
- Communicate prospects with potential for trading to the MD/Logistics Team via 'Contact Cards'.
- Sign up potential customers over the telephone/email where applicable.
- Work with the Office Manager on credit account applications to ensure due diligence and minimise risk of slow payment/bad debt.
- Weekly monitoring of sales analysis reports to identify any drop in spend and take action to retain business.
- Proactively develop relationships to increase the take up of services and thoroughly research and prepare for all meetings and calls.
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports for the MD.
- Build a marketing database for email-shots and direct mail each month.
- Confident and competent in managing the whole sales process from lead generation to close of business.
- Proven track record of achieving new business sales targets and closing business.
- Minimum 2-years' experience in a similar B2B role (short sales cycle).
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Confident & competent in the use of Microsoft packages and CRM systems.
