Career Opportunity for SEN Professionals

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide exceptional support for children with complex disabilities and Special Educational Needs in schools around Slough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with various needs, including those who use oxygen, standing frames, walkers, wheelchairs, and eye-gazers.
  • Assisting with feeding during lunch and helping children on and off school transport.
  • Working with non-verbal children; experience with sign language and PECS is beneficial.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant with children who have severe learning difficulties.
  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate for working with children, or willingness to apply for one.
  • A valid Driver's Licence and own car (advantageous).

Benefits and Salary

  • Competitive hourly rate of £27.50 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay.
  • Weekly pay

  • Patience and compassion when working with children with complex needs.
