The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice HGV Driver in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the transportation industry and launch a rewarding career.
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation and handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and other relevant information.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid Cat B car driving licence for a minimum of two years.
- Good knowledge of Edinburgh's road networks.
- Clean driving record with no more than 6 points (excluding DR, DD, CD, or IN codes).
- Proficient in English communication.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
