Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on construction equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Lift and move heavy machinery, utilizing specialized tools as required.
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.
  • Document all work undertaken, including machine details, time, and mileage, as well as any accompanying documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the workshop.
  • Operate a company vehicle, if provided, to perform duties as required.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our company's Health and Safety policy and adhere to all procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
Requirements
  • Proven knowledge of the construction industry and its equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose complex hydraulic and electrical faults.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capacity to work under pressure, meeting customer demands and expectations, including flexible hours and weekend coverage.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Good general health and fitness level.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Understanding of relevant business objectives and targets.
