Live-In Housing Manager Opportunity

ASL Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Live-In Housing Manager to join their team in South Shields, Tyne and Wear.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the accommodation service, supporting residents, conducting welfare checks, and dealing with calls and visits. They will also be responsible for building maintenance checks and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the accommodation service, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents
  • Support residents with their daily needs, providing emotional support and guidance when required
  • Conduct regular welfare checks to ensure residents' well-being
  • Deal with calls and visits from residents, agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Perform building maintenance checks and housekeeping tasks to maintain the property
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with residents, staff, and external agencies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in using software applications
  • Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
