London, Greater London, United Kingdom Sephora Full time
Job Title: Financial Analyst Expert

Sephora is a leading beauty retailer that inspires our customers, empowers our teams, and helps them become the best versions of themselves. We create an environment where people are valued, and differences are celebrated.

We are united by a common goal - to expand the way the world sees beauty by empowering the ExtraOrdinary in each of us. As a Financial Analyst Expert, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior FP&A Manager and working closely with stakeholders across the business to help shape Sephora's financial narrative.

The Opportunity

Sephora UK is growing rapidly, and we're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Expert to join our FP&A team. In this pivotal role, you'll support the Senior FP&A Manager and work closely with stakeholders across the business to help shape Sephora's financial narrative. Your enthusiastic and self-motivated approach will be crucial in delivering insights that guide decision-making, ensuring we meet our financial goals and continue driving growth.

The FP&A function is integral to managing Sephora's annual budget, three-year planning process, and monthly forecasting activities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure across all aspects of financial performance, from reporting and analysis to long-term strategic planning. Your collaborative mindset will be essential as you work with multiple teams to drive the company's financial success.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with monthly performance reporting, providing commentary on forecast vs. prior year, and collaborating with business stakeholders to create a clear trading narrative.
  • Update forecasting and reporting files on a monthly basis to keep business insights up to date.
  • Support business and group performance reporting and conduct supplementary analysis to inform key business decisions.
  • Coordinate and collect input for the forecasting and budgeting processes, working across teams to ensure alignment with the wider business objectives.
  • Consolidate and input forecasts into reporting tools for regional and global reporting purposes.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis support to the Finance Business Partners and CFO.
  • Drive efficiency improvements in month-end reporting tasks through automation and process simplification.
What You'll Bring

You'll bring a strong analytical mindset and a passion for accuracy to ensure financial data is always aligned with our business goals. Your ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks will be essential as you thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. You'll enjoy collaborating with both financial and non-financial stakeholders, providing the insights necessary for informed decision-making.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess:
  • Newly qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage and build relationships across financial and non-financial teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Previous experience in FP&A or as a finance analyst is desirable.
  • Experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Solid financial modelling, planning, and forecasting experience.
  • The ability to manage your workload effectively, meet tight deadlines, and be flexible in your working style.
  • Retail and e-commerce experience is an advantage.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum

Sephora is proud to offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career growth and development.
