Teaching Assistant Position

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic individual to support our teaching team as a Teaching Assistant, working with students aged 7-19 who require additional support due to Autism and related needs.

The role will involve working in a specialist school that caters to students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including classrooms and outreach programs, supporting students during educational activities and trips to local attractions.

Working Schedule: 08:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday

At Classic Education, we prioritize staff wellbeing and provide a supportive environment for both staff and students. Our classes typically consist of up to 10 students, with 2 or 3 Teaching Assistants, fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.

Our staff team is dedicated to delivering high-quality education, utilizing therapeutic approaches tailored to the unique needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The salary for this role is estimated at £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
