Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at Sprint Recruitment Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing inspections and preparation for testing, as well as undertaking MOT tests and regular safety inspections of HGVs.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out scheduled servicing inspections and preparation for testing
Undertaking MOT tests
Regular safety inspections of HGVs
Inspecting vehicles to diagnose faults and repair as necessary
Completing all necessary records relating to the inspection, service, and repair of all fleet items
Liaising with colleagues and managers to prioritise workload and organise replacement parts
Providing out of hours repairs and breakdown cover as required
Requirements:
Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ qualified HGV Technician
HGV Class 2 licence
Diagnostic experience is an advantage
Full UK Driving Licence
