Room Leader Opportunity at Bright Horizons

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons VIP Day Nursery and Preschool in Westminster, London.

About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children. You will ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas.

You will deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones. You will develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Early Years professionals
  • Develop and implement engaging learning programs
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Build strong relationships with parents and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of the nursery's policies and procedures
Requirements

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced individual with a Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification. You will have previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar.

You will have a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
