Job Opportunity: HGV Driver - Logistics Specialist

Backline Logistic Support Services Limited is seeking experienced HGV drivers to join our team on a full-time basis. As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a guaranteed weekly wage, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to work with a variety of clients.

About You:
  • Must have held a Class 1 or 2 license for a minimum of 2 years
  • HIAB ticket and experience essential
  • Maximum 6 points for minor offenses
  • Looking for flexibility and variation in your work
  • Appreciate a good team ethic and customer service
  • Good knowledge and experience of driving all types of trucks
  • Eager to learn new skills
Responsibilities:
  • Drive a variety of vehicles, including Class 1 and 2, Hiab, Dust Cart, Skip, Ro-Ro, Plant Machinery, Pallets, ADR work, and Caged deliveries and collections
  • Complete all relevant paperwork for deliveries and/or collections
  • Ensure daily vehicle checks and defect reports are completed
  • Liaise with your line manager to communicate any issues relevant to the work you have been allocated
  • Adhere to all relevant road traffic and working time regulations
  • Maintain accurate driving hours, working time, and rest period/break records

As a logistics specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of goods and materials to our clients. You will work closely with our team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
