  • BSc in Chemistry (or related subject) PhD advantageous.
  • Broad experience in analytical science with substantial and proven expertise in the development of pharmaceutical products or related chemical industries.
  • Proven ability to develop scientifically sound and robust methods of analysis using NMR, HPLC, GC, MS and other related techniques used for API and DP analysis.
  • Expertise in writing clear reports from complex analytical data, drawing clear conclusions and the ability to communicate in technical language with scientific peers including customers.
  • Experience in common chromatographic data systems from Agilent, Waters, Thermo, Shimadzu and others.
  • An appreciation of, or expertise in, synthetic chemistry, physical organic, and/or catalysis would be advantageous.
  • Well-developed data management and visualisation skills.
  • Good knowledge of applicable standards and an understanding of HSSE.
