Job Description:

As a Procurement Specialist at Aspion, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Purchasing Manager in executing purchasing strategies to maximize competitiveness in line with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective internal and external stakeholder relationships and complete all procurement administration.
  • Support the Procurement Manager with the preparation for tenders ensuring information is accurately recorded and up to date.
  • Support the Procurement Manager through regular and accurate Contract Balance Management and regular stock cover updates.
  • Administration of (MRP platform) inputting contracts and keeping data up to date.
  • Ingredient Forecasting for the production planning process.

Requirements:

  • Strong administration skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative and multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and take long-term projects through to completion.
  • Driven and eager to learn.
  • Strong data organizational skills.
  • Firm commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT and Excel skills.
  • Previous experience of working in a food/FMCG environment.
  • Works well with others and a good team player.
