Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of pension administration services, is seeking a highly skilled Pension Administrator to join their team on a 3-month contract. The role is designed for hybrid working and is classified as Inside IR35.

The successful candidate will be part of the Defined Benefits Administration team, responsible for ensuring the smooth administration and monthly payroll funding of DB policies. This will involve working collaboratively with various stakeholders, including clients, third-party administrators, and the DB team, to facilitate client requests and resolve queries related to the administration of DB policies.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pension administration, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Inputting customer details and accessing customer information
  • Awareness of manual and computer-generated benefit calculations
  • Working with clients, third-party administrators, and the DB team to ensure timely and accurate DB payments
  • Producing quotation information for deferred members and pensioners within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Acting as a point of contact for third-party administrators and pension scheme administrators
  • Supporting third-party administrators, members, clients, and the wider DB team with administration/payment queries, complaints, and service concerns
  • Supporting the Defined Benefits Operations team and wider DB team with various tasks associated with client requirements, administration, reporting, management information, payments, and data validation
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks based on business volumes and priorities
  • A good background in the Life/Pensions Insurance Industry
