Job Overview

Permanent HGV 1 Driver Required

Staffing Match is working with a well-respected national logistics client to recruit permanent HGV 1 drivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing 3-5 trunk runs per day
  • Operating curtain sider vehicles
  • Making on-time deliveries
  • Following company policies and procedures
  • Strapping loads correctly, including abnormal loads

Requirements

  • Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
  • Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
  • Maximum 6 penalty points for minor infringements with no major endorsement codes
  • Excellent communication skills

Training and Support

Candidates will be required to pass a driving assessment before attending a three-day company training programme.
