We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speciality Doctor to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young individuals struggling with eating disorders.
Your Role- Provide comprehensive medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with various eating disorders.
- Manage physical complications associated with eating disorders, including refeeding syndrome.
- Collaborate closely with a team of specialists, including psychiatrists, psychologists, dieticians, and nurses, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team reviews and participate in clinical discussions to enhance treatment strategies.
- Support outpatient follow-up appointments and provide ongoing guidance to patients and their families.
We are looking for a dedicated physician with:
- Full GMC registration
- Minimum 4 years of postgraduate medical experience
- 2 years of experience in psychiatry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of eating disorders and their complexities
Desirable qualifications include MRCPsych or equivalent, CPD programme registration, experience in eating disorder treatment, and psychotherapy training.
