Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to provide general and specific assistance to pupils and staff.
  • Support individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and development.
  • Support pupils to understand instructions and facilitate independent learning and inclusion.
  • Assist with behaviour management and maintaining a safe learning environment.
  • Support pupils in social and emotional well-being and report any concerns to teachers.
  • Prepare and clear up learning environments, including photocopying and displaying pupil work.
