Construction Operative Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Operative Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in civil engineering, construction, or related fields, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks including groundworks, excavation, concreting, foundation installation, drainage, and surface preparation.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out civil engineering tasks such as groundworks, excavation, concreting, foundation installation, drainage, and surface preparation for garage equipment installations.
  • Prepare and level ground for installation of equipment, ensuring that all works are completed to required specifications and health & safety standards.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on existing civil works as required, ensuring high-quality standards and minimal downtime.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in civil works, groundworks, or construction, ideally within the garage equipment, infrastructure, or similar sectors.
  • Competence in using civil engineering tools and machinery (e.g., excavators, dumpers, concrete mixers).
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.

This is a permanent role, working 40 hours a week + overtime often 15 to 20 hours a week. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000-£45,000 per annum, based on a 40-hour week and overtime opportunities.
