Job Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to start a career in the leisure industry with Active Stirling. As a Swimming Teacher and Multi Facility Role, you will gain industry-leading qualifications and experience at our world-class facilities in Stirlingshire.

You will primarily provide a high-quality swimming instructional program for pre-school, school-aged children, and adults. Your responsibilities will include planning and preparing lessons, meeting individual needs, and enhancing the experience of each child or adult in the program.

In addition to your teaching role, you will also earn your lifeguarding qualification and some coaching qualifications, allowing you to support operations across The PEAK and gain valuable experience in multiple environments.

Roles are based at The Peak and Community Venues in the Stirling area, and applicants must be available to work at weekends. Various part-time contracts are available, all fixed-term for 1 year initially.

Requirements

  • Scottish Swimming Teacher Qualification (SSTQ)
  • Ability to swim 25 meters
  • Ability to surface dive and recover an object from the deepest part of the pool

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare quality swimming sessions, including lesson planning and evaluation
  • Support the delivery of membership activities and Holiday Club at The PEAK
  • Create a great experience for customers and team members
