About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Restorative Practitioner. As a key member of our Youth Offending Service, you will play a vital role in supporting young people to make positive changes in their lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with young people in meaningful work and motivate them to work towards qualifications and awards.
  • Accurately record and maintain up-to-date records of young people's progress and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies to provide a comprehensive service to young people.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support.

Requirements

  • Evidence of a good standard of education at RQF Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent by experience.
  • Ability to undertake manual work, organising and prioritising a busy workload.
  • Experience of working with children and young people, with a focus on reparation and rehabilitation.
  • Competent in the use of IT systems and accurate record keeping.
