Salary and Benefits:

Job Description:
As a Senior Network Engineer at Baltic Broadband, you will be responsible for building, monitoring, and maintaining our core network. You will troubleshoot and resolve escalations, plan and design wireless links and fibre routes, visit POP sites and data centres, set up and test new customer deployments, and participate in on-call rotations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have 5+ years' experience in a Service Provider environment, hold a valid UK driving license, and be comfortable with core networking principles and protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VLAN, QoS, GRE, IP SEC, DNS. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is essential, along with CCNA certification or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on expertise for our core network (building, monitoring, and maintaining)
- Troubleshooting and resolving 2nd/3rd line support escalations
- Planning and designing wireless links and fibre routes
- Visiting POP sites and data centres to maintain our core network
- Setting up and testing new customer deployments
- Participating in 24×7 on-call rotations with our other staff
